Receptionist/Customer Service Assistant
Based in Bradford
1 x Full Time (37 hrs)
Salary - £14,718.60 per annum
You will be the first point of contact and so therefore it is important that you have good communication skills and are confident dealing with members of the public, both face to face, on the telephone and via email.
You would also need to provide clerical support to your colleagues, as well as dealing with deliveries and incoming/outgoing post.
It is essential that you have a minimum of grades A-C at GCSE Level in English and Maths or equivalent.
Contact Centre Advisor
Based in Bradford
1 x Part Time (20 hrs)
Actual Salary - £8888.65 per annum
Your role would be to welcome callers to Careers Yorkshire & Humber’s contact centre, and to diagnose caller needs and refer appropriately to CYH partners, answering simple queries but seeking to forward calls wherever possible to the relevant deliverer. You would need to advise customers on the most effective and appropriate way for them to use the services of CYH partners in general, including face-to-face, telephone and digital channels.
It is essential that you understand the principles of IAG work and that you have worked with clients in an advisory role. You need to have a minimum of an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
The hours of this role would be from 4pm – 8pm Monday – Friday

Training Adviser (maths specialist), Northumberland ref:

igen is a not for profit company providing information and advice on learning, work and development opportunities for young people and adults throughout the UK. We deliver a wide range of training provision and are passionate about creating better futures for our clients.
If you are an enthusiastic, dedicated and dynamic person, preferably experienced in the work based learning sector, this role offers the opportunity to undertake training delivery (with a focus on maths), retention and progression activities with young people. The young people are aged 16-19 and are Not in Education Employment or Training (NEET). The successful candidate will have experience of delivering personalised training to individuals and small groups of young people with an emphasis on employability and functional skills (maths).
You will have a qualification in teaching and training, with ideally a maths level 5 specialism, be well organised and able to plan and manage your time effectively. You should have experience of supporting learners with their future choices and supporting them through the delivery of any skills required. You will be good at engaging with partner organisations including colleges, employers and the national apprenticeship service to identify opportunities. A vocational background and specialism would be advantageous.
A relevant teaching qualification is essential. Maths specialism level 5 and an IAG qualification at level 3 or above are desirable.

Careers Advice Worker/Careers Adviser

An opportunity has arisen for a Careers Adviser to join the Company on a fixed term basis, working within our busy and dynamic National Careers Service team. Working in our Leeds premises and those of our partners, you’ll help people to make crucial decisions about their learning and work options.
You will be qualified to at least NVQ level 3 in Information, Advice and Guidance (or equivalent) with experience in delivering IAG to a wide variety of audiences in both individual and group settings in a target driven environment. You will be able to organise your own workload effectively, work to tight deadlines, understand common barriers to progression into work or training and have an understanding of current issues relating to the job market.
You will establish and maintain effective relationships with a range of support agencies; keep detailed and accurate records and provide a comprehensive service to customers. The successful candidate will be required to deliver advice and input onto an online system so good communication and ICT skills are essential.
