    Support Tutor x 1 Posts (0.8FTE)

    Part time, permanent

    Based in Bradford, with some support in Keighley

    Full time hours are 30 per week £14,363.51 per annum

    An opportunity has arisen for a Support Tutor who will support the Vocational Tutors/Assessors to deliver accredited learning to young people aged 16 - 19. The successful candidate will work within our Learner Delivery Team reporting to our Vocational Learning Manager. They will prepare learning resources for learners and provide administrative support to service the contract whilst supporting the learner's to move into further training and/or employment. The main objectives of the role are:

  • To support delivery of Functional Skill workshops to help support learner progression and achievement in Mathematics, English and ICT from E1-Level 2 and to carry out some delivery of employability sessions and support.
  • To assist in the settings up and clearing down of the classroom in a timely manner to ensure the environment is ready for delivery with the first learner arrives.
  • To support the marking and feedback process.
  • To contribute to the Company's Learning's recruitment, induction and initial assessment phase activities for learners.
  • Complete learner records to support learners to achieve an appropriate qualification.
  • Support learners to complete Bursary applications.
  • You will have a good standard of literacy, numeracy and ICT to level 2 standards and have a PTTLS qualification or willing to work towards.
