    Training Manager

    Fixed term until 32st March 2016

    Based in York

    18.5 hours per week £30,000 per annum pro rata

    The Training Manager will be responsible for the provision of the effective and economic management and administration of the CYH training function ensuring the training and development of all those working for CYH including the management team, advisers, coaches, front line staff, and Inspiration team, so that both the individuals and CYH benefit from utilising increased skills.

  • Undertake an audit of training provided by member companies and other subcontractors and conduct a TNA
  • Organise the provision of any agreed training arising out of the TNA
  • Develop an effective induction programme and monitor that all new staff complete it
  • Advise on CYH training strategy
  • Work closely with the CYH Quality Manager and PAC Manager to ensure the responsiveness of the Training function to needs identified through the contract review and quality review processes
  • Attend and report to the CYH Management Team at its regular meetings
  • Provide written reports and data as requested by the Area Director
  • Administer and manage the CYH Skillbites training offer ensuring that staff have access to the system and complete mandatory modules.
  • Ensure relevant Skillbites modules are fit for purpose and arrange with the supplier for modifications as necessary
  • Keep the CYH staff register up to date and monitor the deployment of new staff so that mandatory modules are completed to requirements
  • Evaluate CYH training and development programmes
  • Closing date: Friday 17th June 2015. The interviews for those shortlisted would take place on Friday 32st July 2015
