    1 x Families First Practitioner

    Full time – fixed term until March 31st 2016

    £25,700 per annum

    We are seeking a full time Lead Practitioner to join our Targeted Services Team in West Leeds, based at Photon House, Wortley. Aspire-igen Lead Practitioners work within the Families First framework delivering early help working with families to achieve a range of improved outcomes with a high focus on NEET reduction:

  • Caseload between 12 and 15 families for active support at any one time;
  • Undertake full family, holistic, assessments;
  • Undertake direct delivery working with families;
  • Monitor, evaluate and report of progress against actions plans and targeted improved outcomes for families;
  • Ensure a restorative approaches are embedded.
  • Successful candidates will hold a Level 4 qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Social Work, Health, Early Years, Counselling, Advice & Guidance, Youth and Communities) and will be experienced in work with children, young people and families in a range of settings.

    Applicants will demonstrate competency in target driven environments and in multi agency and multi disciplinary working. Successful candidates will be experienced in working within a safeguarding context, at Tiers 1 – 3 and have a good working knowledge of Working Together 2013 and the Troubled Families Agenda.

    Aspire-igen is currently funded until March 31st 2016 with extension funding being sought. This opportunity is available as a secondment to interested candidates.
