Administrative Assistant

Part-time 3 days per week Tues/Weds/Thurs 22.5 hrs Permanent

Based: Leeds

Actual Salary: £8,950.50

We are seeking to appoint a first rate administrator to support the work of our Leeds team.

The role will involve undertaking a wide variety of administrative tasks including updating spreadsheets and inputting data quickly and accurately onto our client database. You will help to keep the team organised by dealing with the post, ordering stationery, receiving deliveries and filing documents. Other duties will include booking appointments, covering reception, taking and handling messages and minute taking.

You will need to have good ICT skills, sound grasp of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ideally you will have experience of using databases.

This is a busy team environment that works to targets and deadlines so you will need to have good time management skills and be able to work on your own initiative managing competing priorities as they arise.

As you will be dealing with members of the public and colleagues from partner organisations, you will need to have good communications skills and a professional manner and appearance.

The work of the team involves providing support to people from a wide variety of backgrounds and therefore sensitivity and confidentiality is of the utmost importance.
